You Show Us Love

Sat Jul 25, 2009, 7:39 PM
"There was no rain or lightening on Saturday night near the Damansara Specialists Hospital. She passed away quietly. They fold the hospital sheets in “Gubra.” Orkid climbs into her father’s car to the airport. The leaves rustle in Mukhsin’s dream."
-Khalisah Stevens

With much love you brought to us, teaching us to appreciate, to forgive, unite and to give unconditional love. Kak Yasmin, thank you so much! May you rest in peace. :rose:

Can't u see the priority?

Sat Jul 25, 2009, 1:58 AM
Am saying that to myself. Because I have 16 pages of comic undone, 24 pages of layout left blank, 16 pages of cg tutorial to think about and 2 games to review, and I'm not doing anything of them instead spent my sweet time writing this journal.

I've been seeing a lot of ppl these days are having the same symptoms, which is losing their focus and priority task, ignoring what they're suppose to do and enjoying doing something... nonconstructive, time consuming, un-suggestible act such as writing and reading a pointless journal in DA. I guess they're suffering from mental pressure as I am also.
Hope you all who're reading this crap are doing well. :)

Btw, if you're suffering from mental pressure as i do,
I know the most practical way to remove brain pressure, is to remove a small piece of skull, and suck out some brain fluid. Yes, I'm joking. Don't try that at home.

The Karma Bank

Just to make myself alive and bank in some good karma by sharing this digital painting demo by Bobby Chiu! XD
I admire Bobby not only by his painting skills but also his way of thinking. Some wise people said this, those who're successful in their life, spent 99% hard works and 1% creative inspirations. But to me it seems like the 1% of creativity is the matter of determine being success or fail. "Start being creative and stop competing!!" Will keep that with me for a while XD. Hope everyone is doing well.

Brain Works

Wed Nov 26, 2008, 5:10 PM
A random talk. Yes, again.

It happened months ago, me and my seniors were having lunch in a Chinese restaurant at KL. Since the usual seats are all taken, we're lead by a waitress to the vip rooms. We notice that those rooms are named after some small place in China. Like the south Shaolin temple and some small town's name which i can't really remember, but there's one room that caught our attention, it was named "包29".

I don't know where is this place, but the name is just..... weird. Both of me and my senior read it out at the same time :"包二nine"! Then we look at each other, and burst out our laughter.

It's a sentence combined a Chinese character and 2 Arabic numbers, usually we will read the entire sentence in Chinese since the first word started in Chinese, but the image of "包29" instantly gives us the idea to read the 9 as nine instead of 九~ miracle brain works eh! :D
